We have been waiting for Aerie's referral for 7 months, 1 week, and 6 days!
Our paperwork went to Ethiopia on August 19, 2010.
We also received our official "On Deck" status from the adoption agency. The "On Deck" status means we can expect the referral for Aerie within 1-3 months!
We pray we will soon see the face of the child God has chosen for us before the creation of the world!
We are SO excited!
Want to know how we became #3 yesterday?
Well...Praise the Lord...
there were 7 referrals for 7 families yesterday! This means 7 children have been claimed, they are no longer orphans, and that 7 wonderful families are having the best weekend looking at the pictures of their children! Plus 4 families (including us) received their "On Deck" notification that we will soon receive our referrals! This has been a beauitful week, God showed up BIG again and blessed us.
Thank you Jesus for always loving us and the children of Ethiopia! You are our hope and our comfort, thank you for holding us while we wait for you. In Christ's Precious Name, Amen.
